Résumé

With over two decades of experience in the web industry—starting with my first website in 2001 — I’ve developed a deep, hands-on expertise in software development, shaped by time spent at companies like Etsy and Chanel. My approach to engineering is guided by strong convictions: sustainable tech is built on clear specification, thoughtful architecture, and real collaboration. Too often, I’ve seen teams overwhelmed by backlog chaos or stuck chasing technical perfection without shipping. In both cases, it’s the role of a technical leader to step in, identify the root causes, and drive cultural and structural changes: aligns priorities, builds a culture where knowledge circulates, the roadmap makes sense, and the team moves forward together.

I encourage open, collaborative teams—through pair programming, code reviews, workshops — and I try to connect engineers not just to Product and Business, but also to the users we build for. Tech teams shouldn’t be fortresses; they should be approachable, curious, and accountable for their product. I led ISO 27001 implementation in one of my past teams, and I see security as a natural extension of strong engineering discipline. Good tooling, solid monitoring, and a developer-friendly environment are non-negotiables, these are the levers that ensure stability, velocity, and peace of mind. Over time, I’ve developed an instinct for spotting risky projects and shaping solutions that fit both the goals and the constraints. I stay hands-on, but always with values that guide my choices.

Before tech, I studied philosophy — especially epistemology and the scientific method. That mindset still guides me: I value measurable hypotheses, clear reasoning, and the courage to change course when the facts demand it. I also spent five years in grassroots educational organizations, working with a wide range of people—from autistic kids to local politicians. That experience taught me empathy, listening, and how to support others with both structure and care.

In 2016, I returned to drawing, and in 2017, I enrolled at CNAM to pursue a degree in computer science as a working adult. Both were bold moves that challenged me in very different ways — learning to draw from life with accuracy, or diving into the math behind computer graphics, which became my major. They reminded me that we could learn anything, from scratch, with time and discipline. That mindset gave me the confidence to later embrace deep learning and AI in 2023, and I continue to explore those fields with curiosity and passion. Ultimately, this journey — from philosophy to code, from education to engineering — shapes how I lead: with both method and intuition, and a strong belief people grow best when they feel safe to learn.
